Antônio Gonçalves Lucena, talvez você nunca tivesse visto esse nome, ele pertence a um dos mais antigos funcionários da grande Viação Itapemirim em Campina Grande, estado da Paraíba. O mesmo vem apoiando o trabalho do Grupo Paraíba Bus desde o nosso primeiro contato com a Itapemirim.
Para clarear mais a memória dos que o conhecem, vamos citar o apelido dele: Sr. Beleza. Agora saiba mais sobre sua história.
História
Natural de Serra Verde, distrito de Boqueirão-PB, O Sr. Beleza inicio cedo a sua vida no mercado de trabalho, trabalhando inicialmente de cobrador em uma empresa urbana de Campina Grande. Ele vislumbrava ter a oportunidade de trabalhar na Itapemirim, sonho este que se realizou em 1981, ao serem colpletados seus 19 anos.
A Realização de um Sonho
Como já citado, o jovem Antônio sonhava em trabalhar na Viação Itapemirim, veja o depoimento que ele nos passou em entrevista:
" Quando eu via a história da empresa, notava que ela era a maior empresa do Brasil, sentia mais do que nunca, a vontade de ser um dos seus funcionários."
Começou na Itapemirim sendo um funcionário multi-uso, ou seja, fazia tudo o que sabia. Ao ser convocado pelo gerente, o mesmo perguntou: "O que você prefere fazer aqui? Ser Motorista, Mecânico ou Encarregado? Ele escolheu ser mecânico, profissão que exerce até hoje, 31 anos depois.
Responsabilidade nas mãos
A Viação Itapemirim zela por sua responsabilidade social, fazendo manutenção preventiva e corretiva em seus veículos. Nessa área é que entra o mecânico, ele que dirá se o veículo está ou não em condições de fazer os horários. Veja o que o Sr. Beleza nos falou a respeito:
" Ser mecânico exige muita responsabilidade, cuidado e atenção, eu não conseguiria dormir à noite se não tivesse feito um bom serviço durante o dia. As vidas que a empresa transporta não só estão na mão do motorista, mas também nas minhas mãos, pois faço os serviços. Eu só libero um veículo para viajar quando vejo que ele está seguro."
Beleza ainda nos informou que acompanhou as gerações dos O-355, O-364 e O-400. Ele viu de perto o Bombon que foi transformado em biblioteca e fazia exposições em todo o Brasil.
Revista " na Poltrona "
Beleza é também um grande distribuidor das revistas mensais da Itapemirim, a revista Na Poltrona. Sempre que chega um ônibus, ele procura se os passageiros deixaram revistas em seu interior, ele junta todas elas e começa a distribuir para amigos e até pessoas que encontra em coletivos.
Ele já chegou a distribuir cerca de 300 revistas em um só mês. Promovendo assim a empresa que ele tanto ama.
Resumindo, o Sr. Beleza não é apenas um funcionário e sim um fã da Itapemirim. Um homem que sonhou em ser, e conseguiu. Encerramos esta matéria com as palavras dele: " Sinto orgulho da minha profissão, vivo o que sonhei."
